Incoloy 925 is a precipitable hardening alloy based on Fe-Ni-Cr alloy with the addition of molybdenum, copper, titanium and aluminum. The alloy has high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in application. The nickel content is sufficient to protect the alloy from corrosion and cracking by chloride ions. The combination of nickel, molybdenum and copper also gives the alloy excellent resistance to reducing chemicals.Molybdenum helps to improve the resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The chromium component of the alloy provides oxidation resistance against the reducing environment. The addition of titanium and aluminum can strengthen the alloy during heat treatment

Carpenter Alloy 925 has been approved to NACE MR0175.
NACE MR0175
Good mechanical strength and extensive corrosion resistance.
It has good corrosion resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion, local corrosion and various reducing oxidizing chemical media.
Commonl used in oil and gas drillinga equioment parts and components. such as pipes, valves, ioint bositioning, tool ioint packer, also used in the manufacture of some fasteners.
